Therefore, I mainly wanted to make sure it operated as it should. It did not disappoint. However, I have to mention that the shipper put a sharp cornered box into a sturdy padded envelope that fell apart before it arrived. The battery door is weak as well, will break off. Needless to say I've asked for a DIFFERENT camera THIS year! I liked the fact that it was small, and compact. I liked the fact that it took pretty decent pictures. I did NOT like the fact that the refresh rate between pics (especially with the flash on) took anywhere from 6-12 seconds!!!! That's just ridiculous! I was CONSTANTLY missing out on really good shots and annoying friends and family members as I asked them to hold on while I waited for it to refresh.... UGH! I'm switching to a Canon, either the 790IS which I heard has a SUPER fast refresh rate, or the 890IS, which also has a fast refresh rate.
